This Fan Fiction Narrative is based on a different persons perspective in the story Bullet In the Brain by Tobias Wolff. That short story hit you like a truck, one minute your going to the bank, next you don't walk out alive. How dramatic and quick it happened not only opened my eyes but made me realize that stuff like this could happen and that it is not something to chuckle about, yet something to be aware of.
When I was deciding on what to do for my Formal Assignment, I figured extending the previous fan fiction I conducted would be something to pursue. As I was writing more I didn't seem to find any purpose in this piece and most of it was already written out. As soon as those thoughts popped into my head I transitioned over to something completely new.
My fan fiction narrative is in the perspective of the woman in front of the character Anders in the short story Bullet In the Brain. This gave me the opportunity to create something brand new and turn out however I wanted it to be. One of the previous blog posts we did in the re genre category was for this particular text. In that blog post I wrote in the perspective of a news reporter asking the witnesses of the crime what had happened. With that said, I stated that one of the women said to the reporter "we told him to please be quiet". With that line alone I knew I could make a story within just that sentence.
Below, I provide links to my Fan Fiction Narrative.
